FLEXASFALT® IS AN ADDITIVE DEVELOPED FOR ASPHALT CEMENTS MANUFACTURED AND PATENTED IN ARGENTINA UNDER THE NUMBER AR070113B1 TO IMPROVE CONVENTIONAL ASPHALTS. IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDE BETTER TORSIONAL RECOVERY, CONSIDERABLE INCREASE IN ADHESION BETWEEN AGGREGATES AND BINDERS, BETTER THERMAL SUSCEPTIBILITY, AMONG OTHERS.
FLEXASFALT® asphalt cement additive can be used for wearing courses on new structures, but also to improve damaged pavements, for superficial and deep pothole patching, and as an interlayer (delaying crack formation).
Due to its exclusive formula, the product can be reformulated per client request to be used on asphalt mixes at lower-than-usual temperatures, which produces less environmental damage and saves energy while significantly lengthening travel distance.
